Welcome to Carlita’s Bowl Fruit and Veggie Co-op!

We have a new website!  Please go to:

Have you been wishing that you could eat better – be more healthy, feel better?  Is the problem that you can’t afford a lot of fresh foods, or that you don’t know what to do with it once you get it? Or – would you like to simply save money?

If so, you’ve come to the right place – a place where you can join in with a group of local people and save TONS of money on Fresh Produce.  Now it is possible to live a healthier lifestyle – one you can afford, that will make a difference in your life!

You’ll also learn how to store your produce so it will last, learn how to work more fresh food into your diets, get sample meal plans and learn many fun facts about your produce!

Here’s a little back story:

I have always had a love for everything food related – especially a well-made salad!  When I was younger, I worked in Downtown Tampa.  During one particular lunch break, I found a sweet little salad shop that advertised fresh healthy salads, made-to-order.  Well, suffice it to say that the salad was WAY less than fresh, and not very easy to eat.  There really wasn’t a place that I could get a fast, healthy meal.  I saw the lack and couldn’t think of a possible, realistic, tangible way to meet the need.

Around that time, I also lost my Mom to cancer.  After a lot of study , I found out that, had she gotten solid nutritional advice, she could have possibly been saved from her battle with cancer. What we eat is directly related to our health, and I wanted to not only feed my family a healthy diet, but I wanted to help others to eat better, feel better, live longer and have more energy for the things they love.

I am a proponent for Organic foods, but my Co-ops are not organic right now.  Why you ask? Well, for one, I mostly meet people who can barely afford to get by – even paying for conventional produce.  I wanted to make a way for people to simply take a step in the right direction – and that is towards raw foods.  I’ll be moving in the direction of a more pure diet, but for now, we’re walking one small step at a time.

Will you walk with me?  I pray so!

Blessings to you,

I’m so glad you’re looking into the co-op! We love it, and we save so much money it’s not funny! 🙂 Co-op is $30.00 per co-op (every week or every other week, and once you’re sure you love it 🙂 there is a $25.00 joining fee that covers bins/bags. Join our Facebook Carlita’s Bowl Veggie Co-op – Group Page, and please like our fan page! Those two places will give you a bunch of useful info, too!

To Join, you need to fill out the info in the following web-form: http://forms.aweber.com/form/30/672219830.htm (found on the Join Now page)

You’ll indicate how often you’d like to receive veggies, and what day/location you’d like to pick up. When you click submit, it will take you to a payment page, and you can pay however it works best for you. I need the money in advance for the market! Once you’ve paid, I’ll send you all the pick-up information, and make sure you have everything you need to get started!

I received my first produce bundle today and I am in LOVE!!! We liked the idea of organic but just couldn’t afford those options. You give my family an affordable way to eat fresh produce every day. I cannot thank you enough!!
